Jad Ghandour

At the age of three Jad Ghandour's mother nothed in his baby journal that he shows great interest in fashion design. From this gae on Jad continued to display great passion for the world of fashion and began pursuing his dream at age 18. When he entered Esmond a prestigious design institution in Beirut Lebanon. Growing up in Beirut provided to be the perfect inspiration for a design career with it's incredible architecture, artistic expression, and French influence.At Esmod Jad was fortunate enough to be able to pick the brain of Lebanon's most renowned designer Elie Saab, who served as creative director of Esmod.Just three months into his studies, Jad designed and sold his first garment a custom gown. In June of 2009, just one month before graduation, Jad presented his first collection Spring/Summer 2010 in the garden of Lebanon's magnificent Sursock Palace. His first collection inspired by the mystery of the Orient, captivated the audience and recieved outstanding reviews. ,Ghandour was invited to present the collection again at Dubai International Fashion Week in the United Arab Emirates in November 2009.Word spread quickly of Jad's unique talent and vision, and he was soon sought out by Royalty and socialites alike, and has quickly built an incredible custom design business which allowed him to launch his company and his design atelier.In March, just four months later Jad presented his Spring/Summer 2010 collection at Miami International Fashion Week where he designed a gown utilizing perfectly cut diamond from half a carat to two carats enclosed in 18K gold. Jad created an intricate detachable cosette belt and cuff detail, valued at $1.5 million which garnered international press and the excellence award in the evening gown competition.It was after this presentation that Ghandour met famed fashion editor/celebrity stylist Kithe Brewster. After meeting brewter, both Jad and his mother were certain that he wa the answer to their prayers.Soon after Jad convinced brewster to travel to Lebanon, consult on his collection and produce his New York debut. On February 10th 2011, Jad Ghandour presented his Noir collection for Spring/Summer 2011 which recieved an amazing responce from fashion critics and Hollywood celebrities. And his dresses have already been worn by Paris Hilton, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, Camilla Alvies, Rhianna and the list of request for red carped appearances has been overwhelming.
